- Chose a chewy bread that is a bit hard to pull apart-This generally means that the bread is packed with wholegrain ingredients and has not been processed beyond recognition.
- Get grains in there-Make sure you can see the grains in the loaf and if you can't, simply go for a darker bread.
- Wholegrain ingredients-When you check the ingredients list, make sure wholegrain ingredients have been used,
- Try an alternative-Go a gluten-free bread or get a sprouted grain loaf, there's plenty of options that are not wheat based which might mean a less processed bread with a higher fibre content.
